Steven Ottenstein is Vice President of Human Resources at Tenetic, where he leads people strategy to support growth in the fast evolving, AI driven media measurement and consumer insights space. He oversees all people functions, talent acquisition, workforce planning, total rewards, inclusion, and employee engagement, building the systems and culture that enable high performing teams to thrive.
Throughout a career spanning media, technology, finance, government, market research, and professional services, Steven has built and scaled recruiting and Human Resources operations that connect talent priorities to business outcomes. His work focuses on modernizing hiring through data and technology, strengthening leadership pipelines, and shaping programs that elevate retention, performance, and belonging.
Prior to Tenetic, Steven held talent acquisition leadership roles at FGS Global, The NPD Group, and The New York Times. He also worked in senior level talent acquisition positions at Citi and Pfizer, and served in the Clinton Administration, where he led the Human Resources function for political appointees at the Department of Health and Human Services and the Department of Commerce.
Steven holds an M.A. in Human Resource Management from Marymount University and a B.A. in Government and Politics from George Mason University.
